The Washington Wizards continued their early struggles as they were blown out by the Houston Rockets tonight. Once again, Bradley Beal put on a show, but his efforts went in vain as his team failed to match his efforts.
Beal managed to score 33 points vs the Rockets and continued his hot start to the season. Following this excellent scoring display, Beal is now averaging 34.4 points per game in the 12 games he has played so far this season.
What’s even more impressive is the fact that Beal has scored 25 or more points in each game! Thanks to his insane scoring run, he has now become only the sixth player in NBA history to maintain this scoring streak. He now sits in the company of NBA legends like Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, and others.

Regardless of Bradley Beal’s contributions, the Wizards have the worst record in the league. They have won just three games so far this season as their second superstar, Russell Westbrook, continues his scoring slump.
One might wonder, is it time for Beal to start a new chapter in his career? He just signed a contract extension, but so far that decision must have been haunting Beal.

During the offseason, the Wizards were part of a blockbuster trade in which they acquired Westbrook for John Wall. While Wall is playing at an elite level with the Rockets, Westbrook is having one of the worst seasons of his career.
The former MVP is averaging just 18.1 points per game while shooting only 37.4% from the floor. Looking at Westbrook’s numbers, it is only natural to assume Beal must be frustrated with the way things are going in the franchise right now.

Keeping that in mind, we might see Beal forcing his way out of Washington in hopes of winning an NBA title. The 27-year-old is en route to waste the prime years of his career.
What are your thoughts on the Wizards and Bradley Beal this season? Do you believe he should request a trade?
