Bradley Beal has proven that he is one of the best players in the NBA. Currently, the Wizards shooting guard is playing some of the best basketball of his career.
However, the Wizards are still losing heavily and have the worst record in the league. Despite this, it appears as though Beal does not want to leave the franchise.
Bradley Beal wants to win with the Wizards

Bradley Beal spoke to the press after the Wizards’ loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Beal reaffirmed his desire to stay with the franchise and to win championships.
He did admit that he had the opportunity to leave but chose to say. Beal admitted that being on a losing streak such as this is difficult. “This is why I stayed, I want to win [here]… it’s tough [losing].”

Beal has been in excellent form since the season started. Currently, Beal is averaging 34 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists a game. However, his performances have not translated into victories for the Wizards. The franchise brought in Russell Westbrook to pair with Beal, but the tandem has not developed the way they expected them to.

Currently, many teams are keeping an eye on the situation with Beal in Washington. Should he decide to call time in D.C and put in a trade request, many teams will scramble to try and send an offer right now. The Miami Heat are expected to make a big play for Beal after missing out on James Harden because they didn’t want to relinquish their young core.

Beal on the move?
A trio of Bradley Beal, Bam Adebayo, and Jimmy Butler would make the Miami Heat contenders in the East again. And the Heat are currently trying to improve their squad in an effort to return to the NBA Finals after their miraculous run last season. But from Beal’s comments earlier today, a trade may not materialize anytime soon.

Could Bradley Beal leave the Wizards? It appears as though he wants to give the franchise time to regain form. However, if the franchise does not trade him, they run the risk of losing him in free agency next season. Perhaps, they may reluctantly trade Beal in order to not lose him for free.
