Bradley Beal spoke to the press after the Wizards’ loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Beal reaffirmed his desire to stay with the franchise and to win championships.

He did admit that he had the opportunity to leave but chose to say. Beal admitted that being on a losing streak such as this is difficult. “This is why I stayed, I want to win [here]… it’s tough [losing].”

Beal has been in excellent form since the season started. Currently, Beal is averaging 34 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists a game. However, his performances have not translated into victories for the Wizards. The franchise brought in Russell Westbrook to pair with Beal, but the tandem has not developed the way they expected them to.
