The sporting world had their eyes glued to the screen for the much-awaited catchweight fight between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia. It wasn’t any different for Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, as he found his way out to watch the fight amid a busy birthday bash with Larsa Pippen. Apart from the fight, Jordan made sure to follow the Sunday night NBA Playoff games as well. Moreover, the celebrity couple took to their social media handles and constantly uploaded videos and pictures from a birthday bash in Miami.

Davis and Garcia settled their long-standing rivalry on Saturday night in the presence of a star-studded crowd. Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard was also spotted enjoying the fight. Even though Marcus Jordan couldn’t make it to the arena because of the birthday bash in Miami, he made sure he tuned in for the fight.

Marcus Jordan took to his Instagram stories and shared a series of photos and videos along with Larsa Pippen at a birthday party in Miami. In one of the stories, Jordan shared a video of him catching up with the fight along with the Sunday night game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets. The couple has been vacationing together for quite sometime as a post from April 10 suggested.

The Timberwolves escaped a clean sweep in overtime during game 4 against the Nuggets. The story also included a caption that read, “By any means necessary.” This seemed to indicate that Marcus wanted to watch the fight, no matter what. Despite the party, he had his priorities set straight.

In the following story, Jordan shared the video clip of Larsa Pippen, shaking her legs on the dance floor. Notably, Marcus found his way to strike a balance between games and spending time with his girlfriend. Nonetheless, it is understandable why Marcus would want to watch the fight.

The much-awaited fight went down till the 7th round until Davis landed a knockout blow in Garcia’s body. Even though Garcia didn’t immediately fall to the ground, he took his time and went down on one knee while the referee counted him out. Tank Davis ended the night by adding to his already impressive 29-0 record. Whereas, Garcia faced his first-ever defeat in his career and ended the night with a 23-1 record.

Meanwhile, in the hoops community, Wolves’ star Anthony Edwards showcased his fighting spirit and dropped 34 points to take his side past the finish line. Minnesota would require to win all the 3 games to qualify for the Conference Semifinals.
