Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is the name currently on everyone’s lips. Butler heroically led the #8 seed Heat to the NBA Finals. Along the way, the Miami star has attracted a lot of attention and subsequently, a few brand deals. The 6x All-Star, who is already one of the highest earners in the league, is ready to increase his massive net worth with a unique move in the following days.

Similar to many other NBA superstars in the league, Butler has a fan-favorite nickname. It is Himmy Buckets, attributed to his clutch nature. Interestingly, Jimmy Butler has set his eyes to make the nickname even more iconic.

‘Himmy Buckets’ has grown to become a popular nickname as the 2022-23 Eastern Conference MVP’s star is on the rise. Butler carried the Miami Heat to two Eastern Conference Finals in the last four seasons. He has, however, failed to win the NBA title even once. The Heat star is also one of the highest-paid players on the team.

He currently has a net worth of $80 million and a massive chunk comes from his huge salary. The 2015 Most Improved Player will earn around $45 million next season. Butler’s salary will go up to $50 million by the 2025-26 season. It seems the player is keen to add more. 

According to trademark attorney Josh Greben, Butler filed a trademark report on the 24th of May in order to launch his own brand. The ‘Himmy Buckets’ brand will be owned by the Heat star and will cater to the fan’s needs. According to reports, the brand will include coffee, beer, soda, bottled water, and clothing.

This is not the first time the 2023 ECF MVP will be venturing into beverages, having started a small venture during the Covid bubble. 

Butler already has a coffee startup under his belt

Jimmy Butler started a unique business venture during the 2020 NBA bubble. Butler was charging $20 for a cup of coffee for his teammates and other players in the league.

During an interview with Rachel Nichols, Butler said, “After my career, I’m opening my coffee shop. Right now, I’m charging 20 bucks a cup. So if you want some, come through.” Interestingly, he also revealed that he increased the price by $10 dollars because all the NBA stars can afford that amount of money.
