NBA superstar Stephen Curry has been one of the most influential players in recent years. He has essentially changed the way the game of basketball is played. Not just in the league or the country but all over the world. Now every team is attempting more 3-pointers after Curry’s effortless and efficient shooting masterclasses in the toughest league in the world. While many felt 3-pointers might hurt a team’s opportunity to win because of its degree of difficulty, Curry made it look easy.

However, some are not huge fans of taking way too many 3-pointers. As they feel the game is not as exciting with all the catch-and-shoot attempts. Especially when the ones attempting the 3-pointers are not so efficient. So they even blame the Golden State Warriors star for it. However, it is not his fault that most players can’t be as good as him. Interestingly, some even blamed the legendary Michael Jordan for changing the game.

Stephen Curry talks about being compared to Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan was and still is one of the most influential basketball players ever, on and off the court. Like Jordan and Stephen Curry, rapper Kanye West is one of the most influential musicians ever. While Curry and MJ might not openly brag about it, West usually has no problem doing it. Ye does not just express his thoughts via his songs but also through his social media accounts. Over the years, he has shared some interesting things on social media.

In 2016, he took to social media and wrote, “I am the Jordan and Steph Curry of music, meaning I?m the best of two generations.”

While Curry was happy about Kanye hailing him as the best basketball player of this generation and being compared to Jordan, he still felt it was a bit weird. “I’ve seen a lot of his crazy, outlandish tweets, especially in the past month,? Curry said, “and then when I saw my name cross through his fingertips that was pretty funny and honoring at the same time, but then also very weird, putting me in the same conversation as Michael and Kanye.”
