Billionaire NBA legend Michael Jordan is one of the most widely recognized personalities in the world. During his time in the NBA, the Chicago Bulls legend had constant media and fan-attention wherever he went. However, MJ has always been somewhat of a private person. Unlike other veterans and superstars of the game, His Airness has no personal social media account and rarely partakes in any press conferences as such.
Recently, former NBA champion and one of Jordan’s arch-rivals ridiculed him for this very reason. Isiah Thomas joined Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes on the All The Smoke podcast. During a segment, Thomas ripped into Jordan and urged him to answer some questions that he raised – on the podcast!

Although Michael Jordan is a name that is familiar to millions around the world, people rarely see him. The reason? MJ likes to keep his life private and this is one trait that has been evident since his early days in the league.
However, Isiah Thomas feels the six-time NBA champion should come out and join the All The Smoke podcast. One of the hosts, Matt Barnes, asked Thomas who he would like to see in the podcast. The Detroit Pistons legend wasted no time in responding, “Michael Jordan.”
Zeke said, “Our job and our responsibility is to come here and help you. That is our responsibility, that classified as black in the United States of America, our job is to come and help each other. That being said, he needs to sit here.”
Thomas has been a staunch critic of Michael Jordan for quite some time now. They were bitter rivals on the court and their rivalry spilled into their private lives. Despite having retired for more than two decades now, the two NBA legends are still not on good terms. Perhaps MJ not being active online really does add to the impasse.

NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan was all about focus and determination. Therefore, he kept all the unnecessary distractions out of his life. One of them happens to be social media. During an old interview, MJ’s son Marcus revealed, “I think honestly, he wouldn’t even enjoy social media just because he is so laser-focused on his craft. Obviously, that rubbed off on us.”
Marcus revealed that although MJ had imposed some very strict rules on his children, he was always very supportive of his kids no matter what they pursued in their lives. Maybe if Jordan should agree to Thomas’ call for one appearance, things would finally be sorted out and put to rest!
