Back in 2011, James and his business partner invested 2% into Liverpool F.C for around $6.5 million. This has been a major success for James and his partners because he has already earned massive profits from this deal. Moreover, the Fenway Sports Group has put Liverpool F.C on sale which means James will earn huge profits from this sale.

Earlier this year, the four-time NBA champion and his business partner exchanged their stake in Liverpool for part ownership of the FSG group.

Although the amount is disclosed, it is estimated that James and his partners own around 1% of the company. As a result, the four-time NBA champion effectively owns a stake in the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park stadium, Liverpool, and NHL franchise Pittsburgh Penguins. (Source: The Mirror)

According to the latest reports, the FSG group is putting up Liverpool F.C for sale. With a valuation of around $4.1 Billion, James’ stake at the club currently stands at around $44 million.

Considering the club goes for sale around its valuation, James will be earning more than $100 million thanks to his brilliant business deal made more than 10 years ago.

According to Forbes, he has a real-time net worth of $1 Billion. A few months ago, he signed a blockbuster two-year extension worth around $97.1 million. This makes him the highest earner ever with around $532 million in career earnings.
