NBA superstar LeBron James is one of the wealthiest athletes in the world. In fact, he recently crossed the converted billionaire mark whilst still in his playing career. So it is no surprise that The King owns some ridiculously expensive things. And one of them is an iconic outfit that cost an excess of $78,000, with a single accessory being priced at over $40,000.

Back in the 2018 playoffs, LeBron was on a mission. He was tasked with taking a lowly Cleveland Cavaliers team to the promised land. And as part of that, he put some spectacular performances on the court. He single-handedly willed the Cavs and took them to the NBA Finals.

Off the court at that time, he was wearing an outfit that was common in most games. It was an iconic black suit, and he even made the entire team wear the same outfit. But during the Finals, LeBron took it up a notch.

LeBron James spent nearly $80,00 on the iconic Finals suit

During the Finals matchup against the Warriors, LeBron continued to wear his suit. And that suit alone cost $4,900. But he did not stop there. He had two accessories that cost an insane amount of money.

One of them was an Audemars Piguet watch which cost $31,000. But that wasn’t the most expensive item that he had. He had a custom-made Thome Brown Aligator Bag, which cost $41,000. And including all the other accessories, this outfit cost LeBron more than $78,000.

The King is set to become the highest-paid player ever

LeBron became the highest-earning player in 2019, but a few players were set to overtake him in the future. But LeBron doesn’t play checkers, he plays chess. In the current offseason, LeBron extended his stay at the Lakers, and that too for a whopping $97.1 Million for two years. He also has a player option in the last year of the contract.
