There is no debate the Los Angeles Lakers are having one of the worst seasons in franchise history. Despite having stars like LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis among their ranks, the team is officially out of the NBA post-season. Their recent loss against the Phoenix Suns has kept the fans fuming on Twitter.

While some sections of the fans are blaming LeBron for this humiliation, countless others have left no stone unturned to roast the team.

LeBron James and the Lakers crash out of the playoffs

It is finally official. The Los Angeles Lakers are officially out of the NBA 2021-22 playoffs. The team has been struggling for the entire season and the latest loss against the Phoenix Suns was the final nail in the coffin. Despite being dubbed as championship favorites at the beginning of the season, the team never really clicked.

Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis have faced the media’s wrath all season. While Davis has struggled with injuries, Westbrook has not had the best of starts. On the other hand, LeBron James has had one of his best seasons in terms of scoring.

James averages 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game this season. Although he has been brilliant individually, he has received little or no help from his teammates. During the latest matchup against championship favorites Phoenix Suns, the team clearly struggled.

The team was without their star man LeBron James that helped the Suns breeze past them in a 121-110 win. Devin Booker continued his brilliant form all season as he posted 32 points for the night. Moreover, this victory makes their record 63-16 for this season. Interestingly enough, their record is better than the Memphis Grizzlies who have the second most wins in the league.

From the Lakers team, Westbrook and Davis contributed to 28 points and 21 points, respectively. Their effort ended in vain for the team, as they could not handle the Suns and Devin Booker.
