Lonzo Ball and Kyle Lowry to headline NBA free agency

The 2021 NBA free agency has finally begun. Featuring players like Kawhi Leonard, John Collins to name a few, the list is filled with stars. But the most-wanted players in the free agency this season are point guards. Two premier players in Lonzo Ball and Kyle Lowry headline the point guard position in this free agency.

Many playoff teams and title contending teams could us the talents of either Ball or Lowry. One of most rumored suitors for the Pelicans’ guard has been the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls who started off their 2020-21 campaign in fantastic form, made some bold moves in the trade deadline as they paired up Zach LaVine with star-center Nikola Vucevic.

But the Bulls lacked a good point guard in their rotation. While Coby White was initially playing as the primary playmaker, his turnover prone play and his streaky three-point shooting were a serious cause of concern. Ball certainly is the perfect fit for the Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls who were heavily linked for a probable trade scenario for Lonzo last season, might go all-in for the second overall pick of the 2017 draft. If they do, they will have two solid All-Stars along-with a solid playmaker in Lonzo.

These two moves in the free agency market might be a win-win situation for both the teams. While the Bulls will be pushing for a chance in the playoffs, the Pelicans might grow into an incredible side in the West. What do you think about the Ball and Lowry situation in this NBA free agency?
