The Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers drama was the biggest issue of the NBA trade season. The Australian star was looking for a move away from the team for a long time and it has finally happened. During the NBA trade deadline, the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers agreed for a trade that involved James Harden and Simmons.
After much anticipation, Harden finally made his debut for the Sixers against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Safe to say, the delay in his debut paid off as the former MVP put on a show against the Timberwolves. Interestingly enough, James Harden has an equal number of three-pointers as Ben Simmons in just one match! As the stat came to light, NBA Twitter, as usual, has given their reactions.

James Harden shines on debut
The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the best teams in the league currently. Thanks to the efforts of MVP candidate Joel Embiid, the 76ers are looking comfortable for a playoff spot and are pushing for the title.
The 76ers front office made sure Embiid gets some help in the title push for Philadelphia. Who better to get than James Harden? The former MVP and Embiid partnered perfectly in a comfortable 133-102 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Harden put on a stellar performance with 27 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds. Interestingly enough, Harden is playing his first game in three weeks after recovering from an injury he picked up while playing for the Brooklyn Nets.
A hilarious stat that is making the rounds on the internet is the number of three-pointers James Harden and Ben Simmons have for the Philadelphia 76ers. Harden picked up 5 three-pointers in his debut which is the same as the number of three-pointers Simmons has for the team.
Harden converted five of his seven three-point attempts and also needed only 12 field goal attempts to rack up his 27 points. Despite all his heroics, Joel Embiid still runs the 76ers offense. The MVP runner scored 34 points and 10 rebounds.

I really hope @BenSimmons25 comes back and torches his old team. If he gets back to enjoying the game he will dominate again.
