It has been a while since fans have seen Ben Simmons in action. After a poor season with the Philadelphia 76ers, the experienced campaigner went on record to express his dissatisfaction with the franchise. Ever since then, there have been multiple issues.
Following a break, Simmons rejoined the squad, only to have a fallout with coach Doc Rivers. And now, after a long gap, there finally seems to be a solution to the 25-year-old’s problems.

Last year, Simmons had an abysmal outing. He lost all his form, which resulted in him warming the bench longer than usual. In addition, his equation with senior man Joel Embiid reportedly collapsed, meaning that there was nobody to back the former All-Defensive team member.
After four seasons with the blue devils, the #25 opted out, but with no bidders thus far. This has supposedly changed now, however, as the Boston Celtics seem to be interested in the guard-forward.

Boston Celtics reportedly show interest in Ben Simmons
The Celtics haven’t been doing all too well this year. Winning only four out of their ten encounters, they sit at a poor 12th position. Yet, all is not lost for Ime Udoka and co. As per a latest report, the green team has expressed interest in acquiring Simmons from Philadelphia. The side could do with a senior guard-forward who can easily find his way to the basket. And the estranged star could be the perfect fit for them.
The Celtics have expressed interest in a trade for Ben Simmons and engaged in conversations with the Sixers.
There remains no imminent resolution between Simmons and the Sixers as far as a trade is concerned.

According to Shams Charania, the Celtics have commenced conversations with the Sixers for a potential trade. Though talks have begun, there is no concrete solution as of now. But one thing is almost certain; Simmons would welcome the move with open arms.
At Boston, he is likely to earn himself a lot of game-time, and will have the backing of new teammates. After rumors regarding a move to the Warriors died down, Boston is the latest and most likely destination for Ben Simmons.
