NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal took the league by storm as soon as he stepped foot in it. He was one of the most dominant players ever and his opponents could not deal with him. His size and power with his explosiveness and quickness were unheard of. And his physical prowess only grew as the years went by. During his prime, O’Neal was unstoppable on both ends of the court. He won the 2000 MVP award and helped the Los Angeles Lakers win three straight titles from 2000 to 2002. A feat even the Showtime Lakers were not able to achieve. Furthermore, he won the finals MVP award on all three occasions cementing his dominance.

However, the grueling practice sessions and games over the years took their toll on Shaq’s body. Like a lot of big and powerful centers, he struggled with injuries and struggled to remain fit. He won another title with the Miami Heat in 2006. Then he retired in 2011 while playing for the Boston Celtics.

After retiring, Shaq struggled with weight gain as there were no more practice sessions and games. The Los Angeles Lakers legend gained a lot of weight which impacted his health negatively. So he decided to get fit and strong again.

Ever since Shaquille O’Neal decided to get fit, he has been on this journey to be healthy. He has made some major adjustments to his lifestyle to be healthy again. And his hard work, dedication, and consistency are finally paying off. Recently, O’Neal shared a video of him striking some bodybuilding poses on his Instagram account. This instantly went viral and a lot of celebrities gave props to the transformation.

However, this was not the first time Shaq had received major praise for his fitness level. In 2018, the former MVP shared a similar video on social media, and body-building legend Phil Heath was impressed.

He shared the video on Instagram and wrote, “I’m actually proud of Shaq because he’s taking his health and fitness serious and having fun at the same time hitting some poses for us. Can’t lie he’s hitting some of these shots better than some people I see online so you know he must’ve been workin hard.”
