The Los Angeles Lakers and its star Anthony Davis have had a dull outing in the current NBA season. The Lakers are currently in the 13th position of the Western Conference, struggling to break into the top 10. Meanwhile, Davis missed 24 games this season due to his foot injury. However, AD recently made a solid return to the hardwood in the game against the San Antonio Spurs. Owing to his absence in a majority of games, the star failed to make the All-Star roster. The fans further rubbed salt into the wound with trolls alongside another All-Star game update.

LeBron James and the Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo are all set to lead the two All-Star teams on 19 February. As a change in the tradition, the captains will pick the players on the day of the game. Additionally, as a surprise to many, AD failed to even make it to the All-Star Western Conference reserves, which the league announced on Thursday. 

Fans keep the Anthony Davis troll rolling

During the fourth quarter of Thursday night between the Lakers and Indiana Pacers, the fans spotted Anthony Davis screaming his lungs out on the court. A Twitter handle shared the video clip on their timeline, and fans swarmed the comments with brutal opinions on the Lakers star. The fans showed no mercy to the star despite his exclusion from the All-Star game and recent injury recovery.

After a series of frustrating defeats, the Lakers managed to seal the close game against the Pacers. AD led the scoring board for the team with 31 points, 14 rebounds, and 2 assists to a 111-112 victory on Thursday night.

Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg takes a dig at AD

Recently, an Instagram handle shared an image of Davis and James, which read, “Bron and AD are still the best duo in the NBA!” However, the picture didn’t seem to impress Snoop Dogg as he took to the comments with a brutal statement. 

He said, “a. D. Need to get his body tight like Lebron I’m tired of seeing him on bench in street clothes yeah I said it what are we doing ???”
