Steve Nash has announced that the Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving, has welcomed a new member in his family with his wife, Marlene Wilkerson. Alex Schiffer of The Athletic?shared the news on October 5, 2022.?Both the baby and the mother are reported to be doing well. According to Nash, Irving might not be part of the Nets vs Miami Heat game that is scheduled to take place on October 6.

Kyrie Irving welcomed his third child this week. The couple already has a baby boy who was born in 2021. Additionally, Irving has a daughter named Azurie Elizabeth Irving, born in 2015 to the $50 million net worth star and his ex-girlfriend. With the new addition to the family, seems like it’s all sunny in Irving-ville.

On the contrary, it was reported that Irving is no longer on the Los Angeles Lakers‘ long-term plans. Earlier, amidst the Kevin Durant trade request drama, the Lakers had shown interest in acquiring Irving, but the deal fell through. Fans believed that Irving would be joining the Lakers after he became a free agent. However, according to The Athletic, it seems like that option is no longer available to the NBA champion.

After a disappointing 2021-22 season, the Brooklyn Nets are expected to hit back harder this season. While the roster looks promising with the Big 3 of?Kevin Durant, Ben Simmons, and Kyrie Irving, it is evident that the Nets have got a lot of challenges to overcome. Irving had been in the middle of controversy last season due to his refusal to get vaccinated, forcing him to sit out of most games. Now with the new development, it is uncertain as to how many games Irving is planning to miss.

While fans are happy for him, they are also hoping that the seven-time NBA All-Star will be back on the court once the regular season starts.
