The same goal as their opponents in a game where physical contact is a major need – yeah, that is a scenario with several possible outcomes. While there are rules set in the event that such an incident occurs, it just so happens to fly out of the window in the heat of the moment. Often the end result is ejection or in severe cases, suspension. The recent game between the Sacramento Kings and the Houston Rockets had a similar tonality.
Following a major mid-game dispute between two NBA stars, four players were ejected from the game as a result. While the game ended with the Sacramento Kings’ victory, the fight between the two teams became the primary topic of discussion among NBA fans.

NBA Twitter reacts to the Kings vs Rockets altercation
The recent Sacramento Kings vs Houston Rockets game turned out to be quite a memorable one and not in a positive way. An altercation, that threatened to break out into a huge fight, took place between Rockets’ Garrison Matthews and Kings’ Malik Monk. The game had to be interrupted in the fourth quarter when Matthews went head-to-head with Monk. The dispute took place when Matthews fouled Monk by shoving him aside to get possession of the ball. An annoyed Monk then punched the ball out of Matthews’ hold and the situation escalated quickly from there.

Seeing the two players immediately invade each other’s space, their teammates and the basketball officials jumped in to break up the fight. As a result, four players namely Mathews, Monk, Chemzie Metu, and Tari Eason?were ejected from the game.

Kings vs Rockets

The Sacramento Kings beat the Houston Rockets by 139-114 at the Friday night game in Golden 1 Center. By the end of the second quarter, the Rockets were trailing behind the Kings by 69-66 with Jalen Green scoring 25 points in the first half. Green scored a total of 27 points, two rebounds, and two assists in the losing game.
Rockets forward Jabari Smith Jr. scored 27 points, eight rebounds, and one assist. Before getting ejected, Garrison Matthews managed to score only eight points and one rebound. Whereas, Tari Eason scored seven points, three rebounds, and one assist.
