As the level of the NBA only gets higher, numerous stars want out of their current franchises. Naturally, they desire a change of environment, in order to succeed. One of the main men who seems to be evidently disappointed with his current setup, is quality guard Damian Lillard. Often considered to be at the level of Stephen Curry and others, he hasn’t been able to convert in into titles. But as per latest revelations, he might be interested in playing alongside another estranged star, Ben Simmons. And the latter may have dropped a huge bomb regarding the same.

In the season gone by, Simmons clearly didn’t have the best of times. He saw a dip in his numbers, and was warming the bench for a large part. In some key encounters, the 25-year-old fell flat when his team heavily relied on him. A former All-defensive Team member, Simmons made his desire to leave Philadelphia public. And with Lillard reportedly unhappy with his current roster, it might just be a match made in heaven. The question that remains to be answered is, will they play together? And if so, where?

Ben Simmons drops huge hint regarding Damian Lillard union

According to some reliable sources, the Trail Blazers may reignite a passion in Lillard to stay there, provided they bring in some quality recruitment. And Simmons may just be one of them. The franchise has supposedly offered the Sixers a deal that includes CJ McCollum and some add-ons, in exchange for their young guard. This would mean that the pair would form a deadly guard duo in Portland. Surprisingly, Simmons has made a move that may just confirm the same.

In a shock move, Ben Simmons has apparently liked a social media post that reports his union with Lillard. The post by Bleacher Report claims, “Damian Lillard wants to play with Ben Simmons.” In addition, it also states the terms of the deal, and how it would unfold. The shocking part is, the 76ers star has liked the post, possibly meaning that the report is true.
