Without playing even a single NBA game, Ben Simmons seems to have managed to stay in the news for an entire season. The now-Brooklyn Nets star has barely played on the court, and fans have been roasting him on social media and otherwise. However, as per comedian Michael Blackson, Simmons has been out for this unexpected reason.
Last year, Blackson ended up revealing a few things about Simmons to the media. A major part of this was the NBA star trying to flirt with his fiancee, while he himself was with Kendall Jenner.

In a recent appearance with Shannon Sharpe, Blackson just repeated the points again, revealing why he was done with the young player who was once his friend.
Did Ben Simmons really flirt with someone else’s fiancee?
According to Blackson, Simmons took his time to flirt with his girlfriend back then. This was after he introduced them, which meant Simmons was well aware of their relationship before pursuing it.
“He denied our friendship. I could show you 20 pictures of me and this guy from the day he got drafted to like, us hanging out. Parties, going to games together. He was like my homie. He was like my little brother.”?
Blackson even remembered that it was the Super Bowl week when the Kansas City Chiefs took on the San Francisco 49ers. On the other hand, the Sixers were facing the Heat. Blackson went on to add that once Simmons’ relationship with Kendall had ended, he was still messaging his girlfriend.
What made Blackson give up was Simmons’ admission about not really being friends. While they had been hanging out, Simmons did not seem to share the sentiment.
“Guess what? He hasn’t played basketball since he tried to holler at my woman has he?.”
The actor even joked about trading Simmons for a sandwich. He admitted not being bothered about the same, especially as the world continues to roast him.

Where is Simmons now?
After sitting out countless games, Simmons has started the offseason for himself with back surgery. However, looking past all health issues, Simmons should be ready to return by training camp. His time in Brooklyn alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving is meant to help the team win, possibly the title.
