With his immense popularity, King James is always under the microscope and his every move is closely followed. The Lakers’ social media handle recently posted a photo of James which has caused a bit of controversy.

King Yella’s massive claim about LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers’ official Facebook account recently shared some behind-the-scenes pictures of LeBron James and the team pushing it in the weight room. Interestingly, one photo of James has been called out by rapper King Yella. The rapper claimed the four-time champion was throwing a gang sign in that particular photo. As per reports from Hip-Hop Lately, Yella commented, “@KingJames Been GD this whole time boy u better tap in with the guys.”

Furthermore, he was not alone, a few other fans also suggested the same jokingly. On the other hand, many fans stated that James might not even know that it was a gang sign. However, it looks like James was just posing as if he was putting on a crown. Given his nickname King James, the four-time MVP is known to pose similarly.

This is not the first time the rapper has stirred some controversy. In 2018, King Yella stirred some controversy when he released a track called ‘The Cardi B Truth’.

Yella’s feud with Cardi B

In the track, King Yella claimed that he had an intimate relationship with rapper Cardi B. However, Cardi B firmly denied the claims of Yella. The Grammy award winner slammed Yella for his false claims. Then in 2021, Yella finally admitted that he lied and apologized to Cardi B via social media.
