There are very few people in the NBA today who Shaquille O?Neal admires and respects more than Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. And Shaq paid his respects to his favorite player, and he even called him the ‘best shooter ever’.

Curry has added to his already stacked resume by winning his fourth NBA championship and his first Finals MVP. The Finals MVP was the only thing that was missing from his resume until last season. Many fans have started calling Curry a Top 10 player in the history of the game.

And there are probably a few people who were as happy for Stephen Curry as Shaq, as he showered praise on the Baby Faced Assassin.

Curry has been a sight to watch this past year, and his fans love to see the star point guard. Curry’s seemingly unlimited range and dribbling ability have mesmerized millions of fans and the Big Diesel is also one of them.

He said,” Because there?s no one like him. People remember Shaq, there was no one like him. He?s one of those players ? Mike, Kobe, LeBron, nobody like them… Best shooter ever. Not one of the best shooters, not Ray Allen, not Reggie Miller, he is the best shooter ever.”

“I?m in a category, but there?s another name that you have to mention: Wilt Chamberlain and Shaquille O?Neal, the most dominant ever… But in his category, he?s by himself. The greatest player ever, 10 people in that category,” he said.

There is hardly anyone in NBA history who has come close to Curry’s shooting numbers. Last season, he passed Ray Allen as the player with the most number of three-point shots in NBA history. And he did it in 600 fewer games too. Last season, Curry led the Warriors to a fourth NBA championship in the past eight years.

Curry now sits level with Shaq, having four rings each. And Curry is undoubtedly far from being done just yet. Only time will tell whether Curry and co. will be able to defend their crown once more next season.
