The Philadelphia 76ers, on the second night of a back-to-back, lost to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night. Even after great performances from Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tyrese Maxey, the 76ers could not contain the dynamic duo of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. While talking about the 76ers-Mavericks game on ‘Inside the NBA’, Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O?Neal may have unintentionally disrespected a forgotten 76ers star.
Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for a total of 82 points to lead the Mavs to a much-needed win. Despite the loss, O’Neal kept his faith in the 76ers. While he picked Philadelphia as his favorite to win the title this year, he ended up completely ignoring a key player in the 76ers roster.

The ?Inside the NBA? sat down to discuss the high-scoring Mavs-76ers game. And while Shaq picked the 76ers as his title favorites, he only mentioned the names of Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tyrese Maxey.
Eventually, co-host Kenny ?The Jet? Smith brought up the name of Tobias Harris, which was completely ignored by Shaquille O’Neal again. As he continued making his comments, he completely overlooked Harris? role in the organization.
It may be understandable as Maxey, Embiid, and Harden have been the team?s best players. The three of them had 25+ points for the game against Dallas as compared to Harris? 10-point performance.
With the Playoffs approaching, Sixers fans will be hoping to see the best version of Harris. Another early exit may worsen the relationship between Harris and the fans.

Tobias Harris came into the league as a promising and versatile forward. However, since joining the 76ers, Harris? point production has slowly declined to the point that the Tennessee college product is only averaging 15.2 PPG this year.
Moreover, it seems like Tyrese Maxey has taken over his role of being the third reliable option on offense. This has resulted in Philly fans displaying their frustrations with him. Harris’ salary doesn’t help his case, given that he will be making just short of $40 million this year. This also makes him the highest-paid 76ers player this season.
