If the NBA was not around, one might agree that Luka Doncic would be a soccer player, LeBron James, an NFL athlete, and Shaquille O’Neal, probably a wrestler. But for the Warriors’ Steph Curry, there is nothing better than Golf that he’d pick for himself.

The father of three, Steph, has had golf as his side obsession for a long while. Perhaps after Michael Jordan, he is the second-best basketball player who keeps those irons and wedges closer to his bed than a hanging hoop. Who better than his wife and kids to approve this passion of the legendary baller?

The star couple’s youngest kid, Canon W. Jack Curry, is about to turn three. He looks strikingly similar to his dad, carrying the same grin, carbon-copied eyes, and identical hair.

There are just so many hysterical videos of Canon dribbling a basketball, watching uncle Seth Curry playing on television, or having a photography session with father Steph. However, there is still something that kept Canon under darkness for a long time.

In a recent mother’s day special show of Ellen DeGeneres, Ayesha Curry showed up to promote her book and also their foundation. Interestingly, she also revealed something rather tickling about the father-son duo. She explained the character traits of the 2-YO and expressed, “Chucking his toys at me, bullying his sisters, playing basketball of course. It’s really cool, actually. For the longest time, he thought his dad was a golfer because of the pandemic and there was no basketball in the season. So he’s now just realizing that his dad and his uncles play basketball. That’s been new and exciting for us.”

Well, apart from chewing tooth guard and bullying his opponents, Steph Curry also holds a deep love for golf. As a kid, Steph would see his father Dell Curry taking him to the greens and allowing him to take swings.

Those holiday treats established a place inside the baby faced assassin as he came to crossroads between choosing golf or basketball. However, fortunately for his fans, he picked hooping and showed the world how those jumpers are best done.

He had earlier expressed in an interview, “I got bit by the bug pretty early and became obsessed. I’d find myself on the basketball court sometimes thinking about my next round. I kind of still do that in the league, which is kind of weird.”

This makes it easy to comprehend why Canon thought his father was a golfer. So what do you say, Curry, as a golfer or a baller? Help us know your pick in the comments.
