Charles Barkley has been an entertaining figure his entire life. Whether as a dominant NBA superstar or at the desk on TNT, his personality is always a welcome sight. One thing he hasn’t fully mastered yet is his pastime hobby of golf. While NBA greats like Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry have become avid golfers to the point of being focused on in TNT’s The Match, their own employee, Charles, has not seen a comeback. After roasting Grant Hill about his tendencies during golfing, it was Chuck’s turn to receive some comeuppance.

Extremely funny, Barkley’s antics and commentary are a constant highlight for any sports fan. Then how did the Chuckster become the one being chuckled at?

The clip became famous overnight. On a sports analysis show, the crew was talking about golf. Unfortunately for Chuck, he became the object of attention. As the team talked about the innovation of ball tracking, Charles was the brunt of all jokes.

Matt Parslow opened the segment with, “One of the great golf TV innovations has been ball tracking.”?However, he then went on to diss Barkley’s terrible swing. “Forget the pros, it even comes in handy when the ball doesn’t go anywhere near the fairway, like when Charles Barkley hits it.”

The production crew at Fox Sports AUS played a montage of hilarious Barkley swings. The first one saw the ball go way left, while the next one became an overcorrection to the right. His final swing was right in line…to land into a pool of water, of course.

As the crew broke into fits of laughter, Adam Peacock said what was on everyone’s mind. “That is awful. It is terrible.”?With Charles’ humorous personality, we can reasonably expect a hilarious reply from the former 76er soon enough. He has previously criticized his own shot repeatedly, so there is a good chance he takes the jibes in good spirits.

However, on the topic of golf and Chuck, it would be amiss not to recount the hilarious FaceTime ordeal between Chuck and Grant Hill.

Charles has some opinions (duh!) about FaceTime

Prior to Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets, Chuck was on hosting duty along with Shaquille O’Neal and Grant Hill. As is often the case, the crew got into anecdotes and a sneak peek into their lives.

Talking about a planned game between Hill and himself, Barkley called out the former Pistons star. While admitting to his excitement at the matchup, Charles revealed that Hill regularly sent him videos practicing his golf swing and invitations to video chats.

The Chuckster, in peak form, barked out, “You be sending me videos of your swing … He FaceTimed me. Dudes don’t FaceTime each other. That’s inappropriate.” The entire crew broke into laughter alongside Hill. Let’s hope the TNT crew does not find out about the Back Page roast, or Chuck might need to call in an off day to offset Shaq’s jabs.
