Brunson and Randle have made a major impact on the Knicks, especially in the postseason. With 21 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds, the 6’2 guard led the team to a 20-point win against Donovan Mitchell-led Cavs in front of the Knicks’ biggest supporter Spike Lee. Alongside Brunson, youngster RJ Barrett received some attention on the offense as he finished the game with 19 points. However, the two-minute appearance of the 2011 MVP had more impact than the win.?

Playing just one game since January, Derrick Rose made a return after several days to make the fans stand on their feet. Coming back from a knee injury, Rose’s return was electrifying. Though the 34-year-old did not contribute much, he brought back the 2011 vibes when he was a star at the Chicago Bulls.?

Anything might change in the NBA, but the love and respect for Derrick Rose never comes to an end. Just like the fans, RJ Barrett loved the crowd’s response to the return. The 22-year-old mentioned in a postgame interview,?”They gonna cheer for him anytime. That’s Derrick Rose man, that’s a legend”.

Any NBA buff would probably approve of Barrett’s statement, considering Rose’s impact in 2011.?
