Messi’s association with Barca started when he was 13 years old after he moved from Argentina to Spain. During his time with his club, he won 6 golden shoes, and 34 trophies including 10 La Liga titles, 7 Copa Del Rey, and 4 Champions League titles. This record-breaking association came to an end in 2021. Now Xavi has ignited a fresh wave of excitement in fans with his recent comments.
The FC Barcelona coach said, “Of course, I love Messi, seen him grow up. Everyone would like to see a Last Dance like Michael Jordan.? He was referencing Jordan’s return with the Chicago Bulls and the documentary series that was released in 2020. Xavi admitted that there would be several other factors at play in order to bring Messi back to the club. The Spanish soccer legend added, “We are obviously at the mercy of financial fair play. But I think what it will depend on most is the wishes of Leo.” He added that Messi knows this is his home and the doors will be always open for him.
