The Los Angeles Lakers have recently acquired a superset of players for the 2021-22 season. After their superstars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis fell to injuries last season, the Lakers are searching for redemption this year.
The injury-plagued Lakers finished the 2020-21 season earlier than expected after a recent championship in the Orlando Bubble. They departed the league after a loss to the Phoenix Suns in the first round of Playoffs which raised many eyebrows on their future.
Anthony Davis has new training plans in place

Lakers star duo LeBron James and Anthony Davis were on and off the court which brought a trimming end to the season. Anthony Davis, the star forward suffered a groin injury in their playoff matchup against the Suns that counted as one of the unfortunate factors. And his fitness has been a concern ever since.
NBA pundits have pointed out Davis’ condition multiple times. Nonetheless, this time the All-star has a different plan in his mind. Davis, who averaged 21.8 points, 7.9 rebs, and 3.1 assists in 36 games last season, is now up-and-running with his new trainer.

Davis’ partner LeBron James also sat out of 20 games during the 2020-21 regular season. And the 36-YO icon had also raised heavy concerns over top players getting hurt with other teams facing similar issues.
Lakers fresh 2020-21 roster needs healthy focus
The Lakers have now acquired a veteran squad including Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwight Howard. While experience is the tieing knot of this new roster, the championship contenders will need to keep their players healthy.

NBA’s if’s and but’s go for a toss when players like Anthony Davis and LeBron James are benched with injuries. Whether a healthy Lakers could have won the 2021 championship will never be answered, but the upcoming season is awaiting their arrival.
Fans are desperately hoping that their favorite stars will be back to Staples Center in the best shape possible.
