The tradition of post-season trade rumors continues in full swing. As of now, several big names have been linked with teams, generating more excitement about the process. Amidst all this, there are also some names that no one wished to be on the list. For example, the long-time power forward of the Golden State Warriors. However, the trade rumors are not the only newsmakers at the moment. LeBron James is right up there, especially for the last few days.

Ever since the elimination of the Los Angeles Lakers from the championship race, James’ name has been in the news even more. With some controversies, shots taken at him, and his clap back, the King has been in the headlines. Adding to his tally, a long-time teammate of Stephen Curry has sent a five-word message for the Lakers star.

LeBron has been on the controversial side of the news lately. After getting kicked out of the season by the Denver Nuggets, the 4x NBA champion was allegedly running an agenda for himself. While the Nuggets were on the brink of making history for their franchise, LeBron dropped a hint about his retirement. This resulted in all the conversations being about him rather than the Nuggets. Although he was heavily criticized for the move, LeBron James didn’t say anything to clarify his stance. So when the Nuggets ended up winning the trophy, it was obvious that there will be shots fired at him.

It was the Nuggets coach who decided to take matters into his own hand. Michael Malone mocked LeBron’s alleged strategy during an interview. Malone said, “Speaking of the Lakers, I just want you guys to know this is breaking news: I?m thinking about retiring. Only kidding, only kidding.”?For this, King James had to say something, but he was in France, flagging off the iconic LeMans race at that time. Recently, he posted a cryptic post on Instagram, although the fans feel that it is directed towards Malone. In the post, the Lakers star referred to himself as the sun.

The feeling was echoed by several notable people, including Draymond Green of the Warriors. Green, who is being linked with the Lakers ever since he wrapped up his season, had a message for LeBron. He commented, “Make being player cool AGAIN!.” Although there isn’t much to make of the one comment, several trade experts believe that Green to the Lakers is a very likely scenario. Additionally, Green has an equal number of rings as LeBron and he has been Curry’s teammate for 11 years.
