Former NBA champion Alex Caruso is one of the most popular players among fans. The former Los Angeles Lakers star won an NBA championship alongside LeBron James, which started the ‘GOAT’ chants. However, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls shortly after, which broke a lot of hearts. Interestingly, although there have been reports of Caruso leaving the Bulls this trade season, the team’s latest gesture for the player dismisses all such reports.

Caruso has been linked to his former team, the Lakers. Moreover, he has also been linked with the Golden State Warriors. Dismissing all such rumors, sources have revealed that Caruso is going nowhere anytime soon.

Keeping all memes aside, Alex Caruso is a great player for any team. He is usually not one of the top performers when it comes to the stats, but this doesn’t undermine his performances.

At least that’s what the Chicago Bulls coach Billy Donovan feels. During a press conference, Donovan kept the stat sheet aside and praised Caruso for his game greatly.

Despite rumors linking him to teams like the Lakers and the Warriors, the Bulls have a high asking price for the guard. In fact, the player is practically untouchable due to his price. One source said“He’s the culture.”

Interestingly, even the player isn’t worried about any trades happening before the February 9 trade deadline. He revealed that he hopes to stay with the Bulls, and therefore, he hasn’t had any talks with the team’s vice president of basketball operations.

Various rumors suggested Caruso’s exit

It wasn’t very long ago when Caruso was rumored to be leaving the Chicago Bulls. According to a rumor, the Warriors would offer James Wiseman and the 2026 first-round pick in order to land Alex Caruso.

On the other hand, it seemed the Lakers were also in the market for their former player. It would cost them two first-round draft picks to bring back Caruso according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. In 4 seasons with the Lake Show, Caruso averaged 5.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.
