Well, the news is in. Victor Oladipo will be traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder and is set to sign a contract of well over $9 million. It’s disappointing to see Oladipo depart from the city of Miami after having a decent spell with the team. He was recently seen sharing his thoughts about Dwyane Wade in a conversation.
Oladipo’s career took off after the Orlando Magic shipped him to OKC in 2016. 7 years later, he returns to the city where his career got a second wind. Candidly, Oladipo expressed, “Dwyane has a lot of responsibility for my success as a human being but most importantly as an athlete. Just because he was a role model for me.”
Evidently, the newly acquired Oklahoma star has some admiration for the Miami Heat legend. Well, the former MVP certainly liked this tribute from the prolific Oladipo. He reposted the clip and captioned it, “I appreciate you lil bro.”
