The Houston Rockets currently sit at the bottom of the Western Conference. This is the third season in a row that the Houston side are in a similar situation. Safe to say, the fans have minimal hopes for the team going forward. From clinching the playoff position in 2020 to such a miserable state is truly disappointing for H-town. Although trade rumors about James Harden returning to his former side have instilled Rockets fans with excitement, one of their current stars being brutally honest in his assessment of the side is certainly not a good look for the team and the city.?

Rockets veteran Eric Gordon recently blasted his side’s current state, as he didn’t mince his words while criticizing the team. Rockets fans would certainly not like what transpired in a recent interview.

James Harden left the Rockets back in 2021, and the franchise has been on a consistent decline since then. After the recent loss against New York Knicks, Eric Gordon was asked about any possible improvement in the squad.? He was unable to hold his feelings back as he coldly answered the question with a blunt reply.

There?s no improvement,” said Gordon. He further added, “Same old thing all year. We have a small margin for error. It?s a lot of things. It?s mindset. You got to play for one another. Do what?s right by your teammates. If you do that, it?d be more fun. You give yourself a better chance to win.”

Looks like the Rocket fans have to wait this season out as well. The Houston side has a net rating of -8.1 for the last 10 games, a statistic that makes them the worst offense in the NBA.?

The 76ers star has been the subject of a lot of rumors regarding a potential return to H-town despite his recent success with a dominant Philly side.
