It was a fight to survive for the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James and Co. faced elimination. A win is a must as they play Game 4 in front of their home crowd. And it looked so in the first half with the Lakers up 18. But after the initial hiccup, the Denver Nuggets came swooping to crash any plans of a potential Game 5. As the battle continued to go from one team to another, the superstars faced off. But the stars weren’t just on the court.
The Lakers had the support of a seven-time NBA champion, and also the Fast and Furious franchise’s biggest star, Vin Diesel.

The Fast and Furious fans erupted after the movie’s latest film welcomed a rather controversial star. According to many reports, Diesel and Dwyane Johnson had some animosity toward each other. For years, Johnson stayed away from the sets of the franchise. However, in the post-credit scenes, he finally made his return as reported by Lad Bible.
As that news drove the Hollywood circles mental, Diesel was present tonight in Los Angeles to cheer on LeBron James. A former franchise hero, Robert Horry also sat down to watch the battle to keep the season alive. Actor Jason Sudeikis and undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather also swarmed the courtside seats.

The first half had shades of the Purple and Gold all over. An 18-point lead lay in the hands of the Lakers, who looked to force a Game 5. LeBron James had a near-monstrous 40-point triple-double in the elimination game. But despite his explosion, the Denver Nuggets made a race back into the ball game.

At the helm was, unsurprisingly, Nikola Jokic. A last-minute clutch layup sealed the deal for Denver as they completed the sweep. The two-time MVP finished with 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists while Jamal Murray added 25. An all-around effort allowed the Nuggets to win a game from the depths. And now, it’s on to their first-ever NBA finals.
