The 22-year-old small forward played for Duke for a year before declaring for the NBA. The Atlanta Hawks selected him as the 10th overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft. In his rookie season, he averaged a decent 10.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. In his three seasons with the Hawks, he averaged double-digit points. However, he has struggled for game time last season after joining the Knicks.
Even though Reddish hasn’t reached his potential yet, he’s a very promising prospect. He has the ability to create his own shot and also act as a catch and shooter. Reddish is also a good defensive player with his size, allowing him to guard almost every position. While it might not be the blockbuster move, the fans would have hoped for, this could be a good deal for the Lakers.
