The Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan is a man of almost mythical significance for NBA fans and even NBA stars as well. Jordan’s legacy is so iconic that he has been inspiring NBA stars and aspirants for generations. Despite achieving glory on the hardwood themselves, many NBA stars speak about their ‘MJ experiences’ with the passion and innocence of a 10-year-old Bulls fan from the 90s. Clippers star Paul George recently spoke about a unique ‘MJ experience’, that made him think of his teammate Kawhi Leonard.

Like many NBA stars, Paul George too had a fanboy moment with the 6x-NBA champion. Seeing MJ in person itself was a once-in-a-lifetime moment for PG-13. Adding to his awe, the Clippers star discovered a similarity between Jordan and his teammate Kawhi Leonard.

“I remember I was in awe, every time I got a chance to look over there, I was looking over there like that’s Michael Jordan,” Paul George added.

Though the Clippers forward got the chance to glance at the legend, it was during an All-Star weekend in Toronto that PG really met the legendary Michael Jordan in person. That night, the 8x NBA All-star realized a bizarre feature about Michael Jordan.

While PG-13 and others were having dinner, he saw someone like MJ in an unlit portion of the room. “So I am looking and I think like damn its MJ over there. But you know, I ain’t trying to stare…. You know its All-star weekend and I am somebody there…. Towards the end of the night he is like, we were checking out to leave. He said something to me, he came over. He was like keep going young fella, I love your game, keep going, and I was like Cooool..,” said the Clippers star.

His hands was big as hell like almost like some Kawhi sh*t, big as hell,” added the eight-time All-Star. After meeting MJ in person, George realized that His Airness’ hands were big, like that of his teammate Kawhi Leonard. Incidentally, Kawhi Leonard has been given the nickname Klaw, because of his big hands.

MJ23 was the face of the league during his days. Therefore, contemporary NBA stars, who grew up watching His Airness, have longed to meet the legend in person. The Lakers superstar LeBron James is now widely regarded as Jordan’s successor and many debate whether MJ or LBJ is the greatest. However, King James still remembers how he met MJ for the first time in Chicago while he just was a 16-year-old. He still remembers how he watched MJ get out of a red convertible Ferrari.
