The LA Lakers have had their good and bad days. While they managed to win against Zion Williamson’s Pelicans, and log in their second consecutive win this season, the health of the players is still questionable. A lot of players from the team have been riddled with injuries. The newest addition to the list is ‘the King’ himself, LeBron James.

James was listed as “probable” before the game started. He has been dealing with a foot injury. The Purple and Gold team looked good coming in for the game. However, in the first quarter of the game, James was on the bench. He appeared to be in pain.

Even though LeBron James came back to play, his health status has concerned many. He is in his 20th season and his longevity is what made him one of the greatest in the game. His experiences and the level of delivery have not tapered with his age. In fact, he has been keenly following a regiment to help him play with an explosion. It was reported that he spends $1.5 million on his health alone.

LeBron James has not taken his health lightly. He ensured to keep his body functional and able. He can still play as well as the young players, if not better.

Can LeBron James bounce back?

So, it came as a shock and a worrying concern when fans learned that their favorite player has been bedridden.

James reportedly said that he had been in bed ever since Sunday night. He confessed that his foot has been hurting a lot. Even he didn’t know if he could play this game, said the NBA champion. He said, “I have felt better”.

He is looking to rest and recover after today’s game.

James has much to celebrate. With Russell Westbrook’s great comeback to Matt Ryan’s clutch and most definitely, their second win, the Lakers are on a good roll. If the players are healthier, the team could take their victories to the next level.

Though struggling with his back injury, Anthony Davis still played for the team. Thomas Bryant and Dennis Schroder are still sidelined owing to their thumb injuries. Is old age catching up with LeBron James?
