NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is not one to shy away from commenting on issues surrounding the world of basketball and beyond. More often than not, fans are able to hear his thoughts on some of the trending topics around the world.

On the latest episode of ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’, the former champion mocked a former basketball player. As the co-hosts brought on the topic of former NBA player Nick Young having a boxing match, O’Neal took this opportunity to mock Lamar Odom.

The former Los Angeles Laker fought Aaron Carter last year amidst much fanfare. Moreover, Odom won the fight against Carter, who is an eminent rapper.

However, Shaq does not feel this is much of an achievement. When NFL legend Spice Adams pointed out that basketball players have a 2-0 record in boxing, O’Neal quickly cut him short. He said, “Against who? Justin Bieber? Oh yeah no, he fought Aaron Carter. You counting that Spice?”

Odom, who happens to be 10 inches taller than Carter went at the rapper from the get-go during their fight last year. The former Los Angeles Lakers star, who played with Kobe Bryant, dominated his opponent and won in the second round with a knockout.

And it was none other than Lamar Odom who helped him achieve that fifth ring. Odom won two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and 2010. During the two title-winning seasons, he averaged 11.0 points, 2.9 assists, and 9.0 rebounds. With the wins in 2009 and 2010, Kobe surpassed Shaq, having one more title than him.
