The Denver Nuggets dominated the Phoenix Suns in what was a convincing Game 5 win. Nikola Jokic, the generational center, put the team on his back as he has done throughout his career. He unleashed yet another monster triple-double that Phoenix had no answers for. He scored, made plays, and commanded the game for the Nuggets to win by 16. His performance also saw him surpass a major feat set by the great Wilt Chamberlain, the man who made setting records seem like a cakewalk. In addition, he also shared a hilarious moment with fellow great center, Shaquille O’Neal.

A 3-2 lead now gives the Nuggets an opportunity to close the game out in Phoenix and advance to the Western Conference Finals. While the battle will be on the road, Jokic and Co. are sure to fire everything they have in what could be a possible series-clinching Game 6.

Last night was another night of magic from The Joker. It was one of those signature triple-doubles which completely opened up the game for the Denver Nuggets. This was the 10th time he has done so in the postseason. He became the center with the most triple-doubles in playoff history, surpassing the previous mark of nine held by the ever-dominant Wilt Chamberlain. As the Inside the NBA crew applauded his achievement, The Joker was a little curious.

“Where is Shaq in that list? Is Shaq in that list?” asked Jokic and the Big Diesel heard it all. The four-time champion gave Jokic a fitting answer which had everyone laughing. “No cause I never pass, Big Honey,” said Shaquille O’Neal on not being on the list besides the two-time MVP.

It was nothing short of a masterclass from the Nuggets superstar. The setting might have been at home, but they were coming off back-to-back wars in Phoenix. With no momentum, a pivotal Game 5 needed a miracle, and Jokic stepped up big time. He put up 29 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists to help the Nuggets take a 3-2 advantage against Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns.
