Despite Ayesha’s tasting success earlier than her NBA superstar husband, the public often credits her success to the popularity of her husband. Sydel, however, begs to differ and has spoken up against the misconception. Yet again, the Curry sister has come up with loud support for Ayesha after she revealed the disheartening experiences she had while working on a famous talk show.

In a recent interview with?Insider, Stephen Curry’s wife Ayesha Curry shed light on her experience of working in the Red Table Talk. On an RTT episode, Ayesha had a freewheeling conversation with her mother-in-law, Sonya, and her sister-in-law, Sydel, and Callie. During the conversation, Ayesha went candid about insecurities in her marriage. At the time she was postpartum and with the conversation she allowed herself to be vulnerable on live TV. The experience did not go well with Ayesha. She had faced severe backlash for a comment.
The show “was edited in a way that made me sound crazy. It’s not what I said, and the context was weird. Yeah. I took that one personally,” Ayesha Curry said. While Ayesha revealed that the show twisted her perspective, Sydel ran to her sister’s support with similar claims on the show.
??“Media is a very ruthless space. Celebrities are real people. All press is good press, but that’s not true when it comes to our emotions and our mental health.” That is why they say creating a safe space is important for their family. We’re all about protecting our peace,”?Sydel Curry said.

Why did Ayesha Curry face flak for her RTT stint?
During the RTT episode, Ayesha Curry admitted that she had insecurities about not getting male attention outside her marriage. This remark from Steph’s wife invited a tremendous backlash. Ayesha had to step out of the limelight. Later on, she went into therapy as she was battling depression and anxiety. Throughout the tough time, her Golden State Warriors superstar husband Stephen Curry had her back.
