NBA superstars Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James recently locked horns as captains of the All-Star Teams during the NBA All-Star Weekend. However, both players did not play a huge part in the game. Giannis was already suffering from a wrist injury, and left the game after making the first basket. LeBron, on the other hand, injured his finger and left the game after scoring 13 points. Team Giannis came out victorious with a 184-175 finish to the game behind Jayson Tatum’s historic 55-point performance. This brought an end to LeBron’s win streak of five-straight All-Star game wins. Despite playing very little, Giannis jokingly gloated about the win over James. However, he refused to roast the King on live TV after brutally ‘roasting’ Nikola Jokic and Kevin Durant.

After the conclusion of the All-Star Weekend, the Milwaukee Bucks star has recently become involved in another cheeky bit of entertainment. During an appearance on Live TV, he was asked to trash-talk superstars Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, and LeBron James. What happened next will intrigue you.

Giannis Antetokounmpo recently made an appearance on The Daily Show with host Hasan Minhaj. During the show, the two-time NBA MVP discussed a variety of interesting things. In one instance, the host asked the Greek Freak to talk trash about Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, and LeBron James to brush up his roasting skills.

Giannis looked uncomfortable when he talked trash reading Hasan’s script from the teleprompter. So he made it up by subsequently praising the superstars. The host and the fans were in splits hearing the two-time MVP’s damage control tactics. “Joker, how are you gonna make it through the Finals when you can hardly make it through the Burger King drive-through,” Minhaj made Giannis say.

The 2021 Finals MVP then proceeded to roast Kevin Durant for joining superteams to win titles, instead of carrying his own team. However, Minhaj then asked the 2021 NBA champion to talk trash about LeBron.

However, Giannis Antetokounmpo refused to comply. Instead, he said, “LeBron I love your game man. I love your game. You are the King for a reason. GOAT. Just broke the All-Time scoring record. Keep doing what you doing man. He’s a blueprint. You are a blueprint man.”

The host could not believe that Giannis would not even try to talk trash about the four-time NBA champion. It is no secret that Giannis is one of the most humble stars in the league. Also, the seven-time All-Star is one of the funniest as well with his “dad jokes”. However, Giannis is always an absolute beast on the court and there were times he has lost his cool.

When Giannis lost his cool?

A few months back, Giannis Antetokounmpo lost his cool after a poor display against the Philadelphia 76ers away from home. Despite missing out on stars like James Harden and Tobias Harris, the 76ers won the game with a score of 110-102. Giannis was not happy about making just 4 of 15 from the foul line. So after the game, he wanted to get some reps in from the line.

However, 76ers’ Montrezl Harrell talked trash with him and took the basketball. So Giannis went back to the Bucks’ locker room and came back with more balls. When he was back, Sixers arena workers had a ladder under the basket and started to remove the cameras on top. So Giannis moved the ladder and started shooting. When the arena workers moved the ladder back under the basket, the Greek superstar shoved it over.
