Just a few months after their amazing performance to win the 2021-22 NBA title, the Golden State Warriors are in the news for all the wrong reasons. Recently, reports suggested that Warriors veteran Draymond Green got into an altercation with Jordan Poole.

Moreover, video leaks confirmed that he did have an altercation with Poole. Not only did Green go chest to chest-with the youngster, but he also punched him!

With the whole basketball world talking about the incident, Warriors veteran Klay Thompson was asked to give his insights. Thompson referred to the incident as ‘unfortunate’ and also scrutinized the violence that ensued during the incident. Klay said, “I know Draymond and I have so much left in the tank, not just this year but for years to come. We all love each other.

Interestingly enough, when asked about the possibility of the next season being the last with the original core, Thompson had an optimistic answer. He said, “I don’t want to believe that, but Draymond has a player option next year. You never know what happens.

Apart from the Poole incident, Draymond Green has had troubles with his contract situation. According to reports, there is a possibility that Green will leave the Warriors as a free agent in the near future.
