A pioneer of the game, Shaquille O’Neal has established his name in virtually every household. While his on-court greatness and off-court candor are well-established, Shaq’s musical side still remains lesser-known. It’s something that started in 1993 with his debut album, Shaq Diesel, and later evolved into a DJ career. With such a rigorous schedule, however, his DJ-ing duties sometimes have to take a backseat to his other commitments.

Shaq had to miss a recent event due to prior commitments, after the ECF Finals were pushed to Game-7 and the big man had to be on air. Now, it seems one of his sons has helped him fill this musical void.

As a performer, you have certain wishes and goals. For Shaq, this came in the form of the Indy 500 Snake Pit event. Having to miss the chance of performing was extremely sad for the 4x NBA champion as he sent out a tweet from his DJ Diesel account.

As if a form of symbolic grace for Shaq, his younger son, Myles O’Neal recently took a step forward in his music career. Making a name for himself in the modeling and music industry, Myles has been a revelation. While not as popular yet, the 26-year-old millionaire has been impressive in his journey as a DJ, model and actor and is continuing to grow.

The young man made his Denver debut as a DJ during the NBA Finals. Setting up the stage for Jimmy Butler and the Heat, the crowd wemt bananas over his set. O’Neal posted a story of the same.

With Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat looking to tie the series at 1 apiece, they might look for motivation in every form. A former Heat icon’s son playing a set specially for them might just do the trick.

While Jimmy was not super effective in Game 1, he will surely look to have a bounce-back performance. On the other hand, having missed his Indy Car performance, Shaq didn’t seem too glum however, after he met Denver centerpiece Nikola Jokic.

Nikola Jokic made Shaq and the crew crack up

After a phenomenal Game 1 outing, Nikola Jokic joined the Inside The NBA crew. When discussing who the Joker modeled his game after, his straight face reply, “I think it’s Shaq,”?had the whole crew in splits.
