The famous millionaire rapper Boosie can often be seen at NBA games, especially on the home court of the Atlanta Hawks. However, the rapper got into trouble with the NBA and the Hawks organization recently. He was also given a stern warning by the league not to talk to the Hawks players or coaching staff. Since then, Boosie went to social media to ask for support, and Hawks star Trae Young came to his aid.

Boosie was last seen during the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls game that ended in a nail-biter. He was seen hanging out with DeMar DeRozan as DeRozan gave him his jersey after the game. 

Trae Young comes to the rescue

Since then Boosie has been warned by the league not to talk to Hawks players or coaches. And if he does, he will be escorted by security out of the arena. The 40-year-old rapper took to social media to request Hawks players to come to his support.

Boosie called out players like John Collins, Dejounte Murray, and Trae Young to come out to support and defend him in this situation. And Trae Young surely came to his aid by tweeting a message for the league.

Young’s tweet read, “Nahhh man we not gonna do this to Boosie now.. Bro be chillin most games with family Heard 11x worse things being said to players & coaches then how he be talkin. Lol Thanks for the support! @BOOSIEOFFICIAL.”

Even though Young came to his aid, fans were not on board with the Hawks star supporting the rapper. Boosie was recently trending on social media after dissing Dwyane Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union. Union bashed Boosie after he had criticized Zaya Wade with hurtful comments a couple of years ago.

Where do the Hawks stand?

As for Young and the Hawks, they are somewhat in the middle of the conference. The Hawks are 17-16 so far, putting them in the seventh position in the Eastern Conference. And Young has been averaging good numbers as well.

He is averaging 27.5 PPG, 2.2 RPG, and 9.9 APG on 55.3% true shooting this season. Yet the Hawks haven’t been able to string together a good streak of winning games yet. The addition of Dejounte Murray was to take some of the load off Trae Young.

Although, it has yet to substantiate into something solid. But the season is far from over and the Hawks have plenty of time to turn things around.
