The Los Angeles Lakers caught a big break in their last matchup against the Denver Nuggets. The team was able to snap a five-game losing streak and defeat Denver 121-110. The Lakers have had a tough start to the season with a team that has been injury-riddled. Stars and significant key players have missed out on games that have ended up affecting LeBron James and co.?

Star center Anthony Davis has been dealing with back issues since the start of the season. And the Lakers’ key role player, Juan Toscano-Anderson also ended up missing the last two games.?

New injury update is a breath of fresh air for the Lakers

But according to the team, despite some minor injuries, all three players, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Juan Toscano-Anderson will be playing against the New Orleans Pelicans.?

Juan Toscano-Anderson missed the last two games for the Los Angeles Lakers with a sprained ankle. But has been given the all-clear to play against the Pelicans tonight. The Lakers already have one of the worst records in the league. And cannot afford to miss any players who are a key rotation in the lineup.

Despite being one of the best players in the league, LeBron James is 37 now.?And as much as he’d like to lead his team to victories single-handedly, now it is time for the rest of the squad to pick up the slack and contribute.?

The New Orleans Pelicans will be short-handed too. Their leading scorer, Brandon Ingram will not be playing against the Los Angeles Lakers in their matchup.?

Despite Ingram missing the game, the Lakers cannot afford to lose any more players from their lineup. Toscano-Anderson may not be a stat sheet stuffer but he plays an important role for the team. He is proficient in scoring inside the paint and from the midrange. And he can knock down threes from beyond the arc as well – something the Lakers desperately need.?

LeBron James and co. trying to keep the momentum going

After their poor start to the season, the Lakers were able to put a stop to the bleeding as they took down the Denver Nuggets in their last game. And they would sure like to keep that momentum going in their matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.?
