The NBA playoffs have brought fans a boatload of drama from the very jump this year. The Denver Nuggets are currently leading the Phoenix Suns 1-0 in the Western Conference semi-finals. After a hard-fought game, the Denver Nuggets finally came out on top. The game was full of drama as Jamal Murray got hard-fouled by Chris Paul, which triggered adverse reactions from NBA fans. Murray’s take on the foul during the post-game press conference might add further fuel to the whole fiasco.

Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic showed up to work scoring 34 and 24 points respectively. Kevin Durant‘s 29 points and 14 rebounds were just not enough for Phoenix to get past Denver. However, the foul on Murray captured all the attention of the fans.

Chris Paul committed a bodycheck foul on Jamal Murray in the first game of the West Semifinals. Paul made the hard foul when the Phenix Suns were trailing by a considerable margin.

The veteran guard crashed into Murray while he was leading a fastbreak. The play didn’t impress many as fans showered CP3 with a lot of criticism.Jamal Murray was certainly not happy with the rough play.

In the post-game interview, he said, “I’m not here to start nothing. I’m just trying to play a game. If he does that, he does that. Y’all can judge it by itself or look at his history.” The Nuggets star certainly felt that Chris Paul’s harsh foul on him is certainly not a one-off thing.

Fans were certainly not pleased with Chris Paul’s conduct in the game. Murray was dribbling the ball down the court when Paul came and pushed off Murray by his shoulder without any reason.

The second game of the series between the Suns and the Nuggets will take place in a few days. Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Chris Paul will need to come up big if they want to turn the series around. Denver will be a hard team to beat given they will have a home-court advantage going into the next game.

It remains to be seen how the series between the teams pan out in the upcoming week and who finally comes out on top.
