Lakers legend Magic Johnson is now part owner of the Washington Commanders. Also along with the Philadelphia 76ers principal owner, Josh Harris. Harris is also the majority owner of the New Jersey Devils.

Magic Johnson makes the most of Jeff Bezos backing out

Billionaire Jeff Bezos was in talks of purchasing the Washington Commanders but eventually backed out. That led Magic Johnson to throw his hat in the ring and add to his resume filled with multiple minority ownerships.

As the news broke out, many sports analysts and media houses speculated on the $6 billion sale of the Washington Commanders. One of them was former NFL punter Pat McAfee as he went off on former owner Dan Snyder.

McAfee talked about multiple things regarding the deal on his show, The Pat McAfee Show. The former NFL player started off by saying, ?There’s been numerous conversations where we thought Dan Snyder was either going to be forced out of the NFL or he was going to sell the NFL to make his life less hectic.?
