Meanwhile, the performance of the 24-year-old Lonnie Walker caught Draymond Green’s attention. In a recent episode of The Draymond Green Show, he said, “You tip your hat to Lonnie Walker. Like I said that’s a guy who’s been in and out of the lineup. Played a lot early on. Didn’t play much, then played a little more then didn’t play at all. He stayed ready, you know you tip your hat to true professionals who stay ready when the numbers called. He did that on the biggest stage.”??
Draymond Green is impressed by Lonnie Walker IV’s performance against them. Even after not getting consistent minutes in the regular season, Walker stepped up when he was given the chance. He scored 15 points in the fourth quarter alone in game 5 against the Warriors. He’s been quite efficient from mid-range and beyond the arc. The Lakers would want Lonnie Walker to be at his best in game 5 as they look to seal the deal in their series against the Warriors.
