It is safe to say that NBA legend Dennis Rodman lived like a Rockstar during his playing career and presumably, continues to do so. Even though he was not really a scorer, he was a superstar in the league. The Chicago Bulls legend was popular for his antics on and off the court. Over the years, there have been stories about some of the legendary parties thrown by Rodman. His ability to pull an all-nighter and then display a masterful performance the very next day is not something everyone can comprehend. Radio host Dan Patrick once revealed details about an epic party birthday party thrown by Rodman back in the day.

Patrick talked about the party when he joined ‘The Ryen Russillo Podcast’ last year.

Dan Patrick partied with Dennis Rodman?

During the podcast, Dan Patrick stated that he only hung out with athletes when he was in Chicago. He added that he does not even know whether it was Rodman’s birthday. However, Dennis Rodman was celebrating it. He recounted there were a few current and former players at the party. Patrick then talked about the way Rodman celebrated.

He said, “Rodman is there with a Chicago Police shirt on, and he?s got his arm around a guy and his arm around a girl. And, there were probably 20 to 25 kamikazes on the bar. Whenever you went up to talk to Dennis, you had to do a shot.”

He then decided to party with the two-time DPOY. Interestingly, Rodman confused him with NBA analyst Craig Sager. Patrick revealed that ‘The Worm’?kept calling him Sager despite his efforts to explain the identity mishap. So he went on with it. Furthermore, he added that he had to take a shot whenever he tried to talk with the Chicago Bulls legend.

This took a toll on him and he was knackered the next day. However, that was not the case with the five-time NBA champion. Patrick disclosed Rodman showed up to the Bulls shoot around as fresh as he can be and had a great game with 18 rebounds.

The Bulls trusted Rodman

Dennis Rodman was one of the best defensive players ever. Despite his antics off the court, his teammates could always count on him when it was game time. However, his time with the San Antonio Spurs did not end well despite him racking up mind-blowing rebound numbers.

He then joined the Bulls where coach Phil Jackson and his teammates gave him all the freedom in the world. They trusted his ability to show up when it matters, and it is safe to say he repaid their trust big time.
