LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers continued their winning streak making it five in a row after their win against the Sacramento Kings. However, it was not an easy game away from home. The game was very closely contested and high octane right from the tip-off until the final buzzer. With James’ game-high 37 points, the Lakers came away with a 136-134 win. Understandably, the Kings were not happy, especially their superstar De’Aaron Fox.

De’Aaron Fox led the Kings with 34 points and made some important plays throughout the game to keep his team in striking distance. With one minute left on the clock, Fox gave the Kings a two-point lead. However, LeBron James and the Lakers could not be stopped. But Fox was not impressed with the officials.
De’Aaron Fox was not happy with the officials?
De’Aaron Fox took to Twitter to vent his frustration about the officials. As per reports from Lakers Daily, Fox wrote, “Thought we were suppose to let the players decide the game…” However, the point guard then deleted the tweet. Apparently, Fox was not happy with the foul call against him that came late in the game with 3.1 seconds left on the clock.
After he gave a two-point lead with one minute left on the clock, LeBron James came right back. As James drove to the basket and finished the shot, he was fouled. The and-one opportunity to James gave the Lakers a one-point lead with 48 seconds left on the clock.

Then Russell Westbrook made a free throw to give a two-point lead. However, Fox was not done yet as he again made a clutch shot with just 6.8 seconds left on the clock. This tied the game at 134. Then as the Lakers in-bounded the ball and when Dennis Schroder drove to the basket, Fox was called for a shooting foul. With just 3.1 seconds left, Schroder made both free throws which again put the Lakers up by two. Fox then in-bounded the ball got it back and let go of a long three-pointer before the buzzer, but it was not good.

Despite not being full strength, the Los Angeles Lakers have been grinding out wins lately. With this win against the Sacramento Kings, the Purple and Gold have now won three straight away games. As the winning streak continues, LeBron James and the Lakers are now 19-21 for the season.
