As the game goes on, NBA fans decided to troll Warriors ace Stephen Curry after he met with a scary collision, hitting the hardwood and holding his abdomen.

After dropping the first two games of the series, everyone was quick to count out the Golden State Warriors. However, Stephen Curry and the rest of the team managed to kick things up a notch and win back-to-back games in San Francisco.
The Warriors even won Game 3 without Draymond Green as he served his suspension after stepping on Domantas Sabonis? chest during Game 2. Now, Game 5 of the series has these two teams fighting neck to neck, blow after blow.
With under two minutes left to play in the second quarter of the game, Stephen Curry ended up on the floor after a hard collision with Malik Monk. As the Warriors teammates put up a double screen for Klay Thompson to get an open shot, Monk may have gotten a tad too enthusiastic to close out on him.
As both Curry and Draymond Green firmly took their positions for a double screen for Thompson, the defending Monk crashed into Curry as he chased after the Warriors no. 11 in order to close out on him.
The Athletic writer Marcus Thompson II tweeted, ?Looks like Curry might?ve got the wind knocked out of him. He?s still holding his stomach,? describing the situation in the arena.

Fans, however, saw this as an opportunity to troll the four-time NBA champion. One fan commented, ?Steph could stub his toe and the national media would say ?steph overcoming a critical injury to carry his team to the win. He?s him.?

Here are a few more reactions from fans on Twitter.
Since when do you set a screen half bent over when you know your going take a hit? Sad thing is refs looked at replay and still called in Curry’s favor. Must be nice 🤦🏻♂️

One fan was glad to finally see the Warriors, who are infamous for their ‘illegal screens’, get called for one.
Finally somebody got tired of them cheating with moving screens

I noticed he didn’t go setting anymore screens the rest of the half…what’s he motioning for on the ground? Begging for a review for a flagrant?
