Shaquille O’Neal had an incredible NBA career, in which he played for some of the top teams in the league. He won four NBA championships in his career spanning 19 years. However, even after his retirement, he has been winning off the court. Shaq has a diversified portfolio of investments that have made him worth $400 million.

However, Shaq was once carried off in an ambulance after a wrestling match on AEW Dynamite, in what was his debut. The Big Diesel disappeared from the match in an ambulance and many have been keen to know about what happened after. Shaq, in a recent interview, revealed the whole incident from the AEW match.

Shaquille O’Neal is a huge wrestling fan and has made several appearances for different promotions. Even during his career in the NBA, Shaq appeared in the World Championship Wrestling and handed over the belt to the winner of the match. He also joined the WWE as a guest host, back in 2009.

However, his first match would come seven years later in WrestleMania 32, where he appeared as a surprise celebrity entry. Shaq then made his debut in AEW last year, when he teamed up with Jade Cargill against Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet. However, Shaq had to be put on a stretcher and was taken to an ambulance. He recently revealed what happened in the ambulance.

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal recently appeared for an interview on the ‘2 Lies and 1 Truth‘ podcast, hosted by Brandi Rhodes. She is the wife of Cody Rhodes, who fought against Shaq in his AEW debut last year. Brandi asked Shaq about the incident when he was taken to the ambulance backstage at the very beginning of the interview. To this, Shaq revealed that he got into a fight in the ambulance.

“Well, in the ambulance, the attendant said, ‘Cody told me to take you somewhere special’,” Shaq said.

He continued: “We got into a fight and the ambulance flipped over and I ended up somewhere in the swamp. Some people nearby took me in. I’m back now and I lost 50 pounds. I got a six-pack. So next time I see your husband, it’s gonna be on.”

 

Shaq indeed has an insane physique now. He has worked out a lot this year and has been flexing his muscles on social media lately. But it is always hard to take on Shaq in a wrestling match. He was nowhere to be found when he was checked into the ambulance after the fight.

However, Shaq has revealed that the next time he bumps into Cody Rhodes, ‘it’s gonna be on’. But there’s not much information on Shaq’s next appearance on AEW or any other wrestling promotion.
