The Denver Nuggets have completely dominated the Los Angeles Lakers during the Conference Finals with three straight wins. Nikola Jokic and the rest of the team followed their game plan and went on a late fourth-quarter run to put the game out of reach. When he’s not on the court making everything look so easy, Jokic loves to keep things light-hearted and friendly. That was the case again last night. After he was asked about his contributions in the fourth, Jokic had a hilarious response that left the room in splits.
The Nuggets are only one win away from making their first NBA Finals appearance in franchise history. And much of that credit goes to the Nuggets’ team leader, Nikola Jokic. However, when he was given credit for coaching his teammates late in the final quarter, Jokic had something interesting to say.

By the start of the NBA playoffs, very few people had the Denver Nuggets as the team to go all the way. Despite being the 1st seed in the West, fans and media didn’t fancy their chances against the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and others. But now, the Nuggets have changed everyone’s opinion, being only one win away from knocking out the Lakers.
Despite a strong performance from the Lakers, the Nuggets came in with too much firepower. Moreover, it was the way they chose to attack their opponents, choosing when to lock in and go on a run.
The Nuggets have developed a strategy to make a strong fourth-quarter run, leaving their opponents in the dust. So, when Nikola Jokic was informed that head coach Mike Malone gave him credit for coaching the team in the fourth, The Joker certainly did not disappoint.

The reporter asked the Nuggets center, “What was coach Jokic like?” To that, the two-time MVP said, “I don?t know. I don?t want to be a coach. And I think that?s the worst job on the planet for sure.”

Coach Jokic?
The reporters in the room had a great laugh while interacting with Nikola Jokic after the game. Plus, it may be safe to assume that Jokic would go on to be a terrific coach once his career as a player is over.
Unfortunately, it does not seem like The Joker is leaning towards a coaching job after his professional career. However, another factor behind Jokic?s comments may be the recent firing of multiple coaches in a short span of time.
